The Cumberland Hotel has many good features, especially the downstairs area of the hotel as it is in appearance how it is described on the website. However, I really wish that the same quality had been given in the bedrooms. Even though I asked for a standard room, I have had better quality rooms at a a Ramada/Travel Lodge/Holiday Inn. The lino flooring in the bathroom (which was of fair size) was actually quite smelly. The bedroom which seemed smaller than the bathroom was decorated ok and the beds were comfortable even though my feet were hanging out the end, I might like to add that I am 5'4". The carpet could do with a change but a good clean wouldn't go amiss. Just one last thing.....i stayed in room 116 and there is a constant knocking sound that comes from the wardrobe and never stopped keeping me awake all night and morning.

An excellent hotel, very clean with friendly staff. Our room was very nice, well decorated and clean. The restaurant was superb and very reasonable.A very pleasant stay all round.

The restaurant here was good with lovely staff, we both ordered delightful dishes. Central location of this trendy boutique hotel was a bonus. Also, the area was local. There was an amazing pool on site too.

The reception staff were super friendly and helpful, they upgraded us to a better room without any extra charge which was amazin! The heated pool was a nice touch and the waiters at the restaurants were really nice too. It felt cozy and it was a great time with the family.
The family room was a bit cramped for four people and the decor felt kinda outdated. The check-in was slow and kinda frustrating.

The location is excellent, and the staff are courteous, consistently working hard to provide a good experience. The food is a highlight, particularly the freshest fish. The hotel's overall cleanliness is lacking, with musty odors and outdated decor. The slow service during breakfast and insufficient parking.
